Exclusive Connector straps on thigh board provide additional puck stopping power while in the butterfly. The connector straps are adjustable and will allow the thigh board to tilt back enough to provide full knee and thigh protection but will not allow the boards to act like swinging doors when struck by a puck. Connector straps can be removed for a conventional set up.
